Established in 1974, Cedars offers a rich educational environment for children ages 3 to 12 years. Cedars Montessori School is nestled on 16 acres of wooded land in southwest Austin, giving a countryside setting that allows children to enjoy and explore nature. Established in 1974, Cedars offers a rich educational environment for children ranging from ages three to twelve. Developing a respect and sense of responsibility to the natural world is an integral part of our mission. Our teaching staff is highly qualified, trained and certified through A.M.I. or A.M.S. , providing a comprehensive program for the development of the whole child.
