BEWARE: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL PLACE!

This place is understaffed, unorganized, unsafe, and should probably be investigated for violations. We arranged a trial day with our 3 year old boy. 7:45 AM drop off was frantic to say the least, as the majority of kids are all huddled in one large foyer-type of room until 8:30 or later-which is a pretty late start for the children. In a separate room, there were a large number of children around 18 months . The "teacher" came out of this room in a hurry and ran up to another "teacher" with a very frantic look on her face and panic in her voice - she was "watching" 30+ toddlers and the state requirement is less than half of that. The more tenured teacher didn't seem to think this was that big of a deal. With no director available to receive our paperwork, we had to just leave our paperwork on the desk and head out to work. We understand drop-off time can be frantic, but not having enough staff is just uncalled for! Saving on labor cost will end up taking this place down. Well within 3 hours after dropping him off we were already being called by this wretched place: "Your son was hit by a girl on the playground, she was on the swings he was behind". Again, he just turned 3, why is he even in a position to get hit by other kids on swings? They also informed us that he had a bump on his head and scraped lip. We asked if the bump was from the girl hitting him or his head hitting the ground - the clueless staff member had no idea. Again, understaffed and unsafe is how this place does business. We picked him up early and on the ride home noticed either gum or candy in his hair, matted to his head. Red, sticky mess in our child's hair!! What kind of place is this?!?! That was the last straw, we called back while driving home to tel them that they sent our son home not only with bruises, scrapes, and scratches but either sticky candy or gum stuck in his hair! The staff member could only murmur: "well, no one is allowed to have that so we don't know how it happened". What a joke?!?! We will be sticking with our safer, nicer, very well staffed establishment in Sachse.

I would recommend saving yourself the heartache and your child the abuse - avoid this place at all costs. We are considering pressing charges, never has our son experienced such neglect!
