Description: Children in our afterschool care programs learn valuable social and scholastic skills in a safe, fun, and supervised environment. We welcome children in Head Start/Pre-K through 7th grade. Our programs offer a constructive balance of counselor led activities and free time for child exploration. Daily activities include arts and crafts, homework assistance, character development activities, and a variety of physical activities. Our counselors assist children with daily homework to promote academic success and provide fitness activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. We offer afterschool transportation from Abilene and Wylie schools to the Redbud and State Street YMCAs.
