My son has gone to some of the most prominent schools offered in this area. He did learn adequately but in his journey of education he became the classroom chew toy....literally. After addressing these issues numerous times and countless hours of trying to recieve an explaination as to why the teacher thought her text messages where more important than the well being of my son we took him to KIDS ARE FOREVER. I can't tell you the peace of mind knowing that my son is taken care by such wonderful, kind, generous, & loving women. Ms. Lisa & Ms Nikki are godsent angels that I am very blessed to have watching over my little boy. I explaned the troubles that we have experienced and I let them know that I take the well being of my son to the extreme and there is nothing in this world that is as important to me than him. They too feel this way for every child that comes into their care. I strongly recommend this facility to those who care and need a peace of mind for their children for they truly have the biggest hearts.

I have three children, 12, 11, and 3. With my older two I was a stay at home mom which was absolutely wonderful but then returned to work before my 3rd one. I never had to worry about finding daycare before my little girl came along. While I was pregnant with my first and only little girl I began looking for childcare. I knew that I did not want a big daycare center where staff turnover is inevitable. I found Kids R Forever and went out for a visit. They didn't make me schedule a time or tell them when I was coming, I was just allowed to show up whenever to observe. I did not find many places like that. When I went, the kids were doing their morning circle time, sitting together on the rug, and were all engaged in the activities. I remember getting tears in my eyes(pregnancy hormones, possibly...) as I watched the interactions between the kids and the staff. I knew right then that I had found the place I would trust with my daughter once she arrived. Then the day came that I had to drop my 6-week old off for the WHOLE day. It was such a sad day but when I got there to drop her off, I turned and left with calmness and comfort. I was still sad to leave her but knew she was in good hands. My daughter is now 3 1/2 years old and still goes to Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Nikki every day. She loves them as if they were family and they love her as if she were their own. When she first went to the potty on her own at home the first person she wanted to call was Mrs. Nikki and then Mrs. Lisa. Even though it was the weekend we called them both and she talked with them. They told her they were sooo proud of her and great job! My little girl hung up the phone after those calls just beaming!! How many childcare providers take the time to answer the phone and talk to their clients on the weekend?!? This is just one example of their greatness. My daughter is so smart and has learned an enormous amount while at daycare. She can tie her shoes at the age of three, recognizes her letters, knows the letter sounds, can actually count to 20 not just recite the numbers, and has been potty trained all while in the care of this facility. If it weren't for this place I would not be able to go to work worry free. She will be with these ladies until she goes to kindergarten. And when that day comes it will be a very sad one because these ladies are loved by my daughter and our family so much. They have had a huge impact on mine and my child's life. I wish there were more childcare providers out there with the hearts and passion of these two ladies! I will never be able to write or say enough great things about Kids R Forever!!

My children have been cared for by the Kids Are Forever childcare family for three years now and we absolutely love them! I would recommend this childcare center to anyone and everyone looking to enroll their children some place. They are very reasonably priced, provide the daily meals for the kids (which is amazing and I don't have that worry or hassle of remembering to pack lunches everyday), the caregivers keep the facility very clean (most kids tend to get sick more often than not when in childcare, but we haven't experienced that because of how clean they keep it). Before taking my children here I did not know the caregivers, but over the years we have become close and they treat me and my kids like family. I, like any other parent, have had my concerns, but unlike the former response, my concerns were always handled in a professional manner and I know that I have nothing to worry about when my children are there. They always get enough to eat, always get a good nap and play time, and they learn normal "pre school" things such as reciting the alphabet, reading and writing, but also other things that normal caregivers don't take time to do such as tying their shoes. I am always notified if my child gets hurt (which is hardly ever), and notified if they got in trouble and had to sit in time out. I have never once had a complaint from my child about any of the staff, they are all wonderful people, not once have they ever been "rude or unprofessional" in any manner. I am always able to check on my children through out the day, which makes me feel a lot better, what other childcare center would allow parents to do that? None! As a single parent you often wonder if the choices that you, alone, make for your children are the best and I can honestly say that the choice of sending my children here was by far one of the best ones I have made.

We have been with this day care for almost 5 years. I have NEVER had any problems with them. These ladies are some of the most caring, generous, respectful people I ever met. They care about every child and treat them as if they were their own. My children absolutely love going to school every day and are happy when I pick them up. I know that my children aren't angels all of the time (even though I like to think so). :) they discipline them in a very appropriate manner and they let me know of the incidents the have, mostly on a daily basis. I have nothing negative to say about this day care OR the providers. I was reading the previous post in disbelief, thinking they must have the wrong facility. This place is awesome and I wil keep my children here as long as possible.

In response to the above review. Mrs. Nikki & I have owned and operated our childcare center proudly for the past 23 years. Mrs. Nikki is vital asset to our business she would never be rude or unprofessional. She is however direct and to the point on following rules. Our children love and learn so much from Mrs. Nikki. The mom above came into our center complaining she was very unhappy with her son's education at his then current school. He went into Mrs. Nikki's pre k class unable to recognize or write his name. Within three months of working with Mrs. Nikki he was not only recognizing his name also his friends names, writting letters & counting. Monique fails to mention this information. The incident she mentions did take place. We addressed the situation after several warnings of rough housing the boys were made sit in time out. Yes both boys one for the action one for the language he used. On other occasions we had to remind this young man to use appropriate language. When we addressed this to his mother she simply put the blame off on his father. She told us she had problems with both her boys when they came back from each of their dads houses. On this occasion we did not call his mother. We do make phone calls home if the child has been hurt. Neither child was hurt just acting inappropriately. We love our children, take pride in our childcare and love our daycare families. We thank God for blessing us with so many amazing parents. However with everything in life there are those few like Monique who left one school unhappy only to follow the same path with us. Her son is a wonderful sweet little boy who we wish all the best! To set the record straight I am the one who gave Monique her two week notice to find alternative care. After Mrs. Nikki answered my phone to Monique yelling & upset about not receiving a phone call. Mrs. Nikki explained the situation to her and that the children were not hurt. Mrs. After talking to Mrs. Nikki with total disrespect I informed Monique she needed to find care where she was happy.

I am giving this rating based on my experience. I had the usal concerns most parents have when they start their child(ren) in a daycare: Are they treating them right, are they eating well, are they learning anything... my child was happy in the beginning but I noticed that everytime I spoke with them about a concern my child became more and more UNHAPPY. I was told, "Mommy please don't tell them I told you cause she said last time she was mad at me." Who in their right mind would tell a child that is what I asked myself? I figured, no child likes to get in trouble so maybe my child was being a little dramatic. My complaint is not on the facility itself but the staff (Niki). One day when I addressed her about my son being hit by another child in the private and not being told by the daycare she became RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I was told the little boy had to sit out but your son got in trouble too for running in here saying he got hit in the nuts! I was then told that by her that I "been running my mouth." I honestly don't even know what to say to that except, how can a parent trust their child with you if you attack the parent in a manner like that? I did speak with Lisa who spoke respectfully about the acusations that have been made against me... needless to say everything was discussed and we were on the same page. Overall, if you are going to be negative toward my child and myself you are not equiped to work with children. I am very upset that I have not been told about things that have gone on in this home. If a child is misbehaving or there is an incident involving the students, parents should be notified and not attacked by the so called caregiver when askewd what happened to your child.
