About the Provider

YWCA of Central Maine Child Care Program offers an excellent staff to child ratio in a true preschool and pre-k environment. Part-time and full-time care are offered in both programs and half-day care is offered for Pre-K. Our classrooms follow the Maine Learning Standards with a balance of free play, significant adult and peer social interaction and an exciting curriculum designed to increase children’s confidence socially and prepare them for the school-years ahead. Breakfast and snacks are provided daily. Two outside play times are built into the daily schedule and playground equipment is specific to the interests and safety of the children in our care.
