Tenderhearts Daycare has benefitted my daughter tremendously! My daughter has been going there since she was 6 months old, and she loves it! She adores all her friends she sees daily and loves all her teachers. She has learned so much from this daycare, including peeing on the potty! Even if I had the choice, I wouldn't want her anywhere else other than Tenderhearts daycare! :)
I absolutely love this daycare! I have felt my children are well cared for and loved by all of the incredible staff. Right from our interview we knew this was a perfect fit for our little family. I wouldn’t consider any other daycare. They have been an amazing godsend for us and we couldn’t be happier.
My daughter has been going to Tenderhearts since 2018 and loves it. For me leaving my daughter at daycare was one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make. After a divorce and recent loss of my mom their is nobody I trust more with my daughter than Doris and the staff at Tenderhearts. During that time of great stress and uncertainty Tenderheart’s was one constant I could count on. They always keep me well informed and engage me if there is something that needs my closer attention. Their schedule, structure, and cleanliness( especially during COVID) was something I never had to worry about. It allowed me to return to work and start creating some normalcy for my daughter and I. They keep my daughter’s day filled with a variety of play and learning activities that she loves. I marvel at how much she has learned and grown during her time at Tenderhearts. I am truly great full to Doris, Megan, Angela and the rest of the staff. I couldn’t have done it without them. This daycare stands above the rest and I highly recommend them.
Best decision we made was to switch our child to Tenderhearts. Doris and staff are amazing. Structured, organized and VERY clean environment. I love having the peace of mind that my child is safe and cared for while we are working! Highly, highly, highly recommend Tenderhearts!
When my son's daycare closed at the age of one I was terrified to send him to a new daycare. When I toured Tenderhearts Daycare I was in awe how clean, neat and the fun atmosphere. Doris the owner was friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I knew just then that my son would be safe and happy. He has now been there for five years and it was the best decision I made. He absolutely loves it there! He has so many friends. The staff is so great to him and all the children. They have gone above and beyond especially since Covid. They have followed all the guidelines and have stepped up with all the remote learning. I couldn't say enough about this daycare! I highly recommend it for both children and people looking for a great place to work.
My only child has been with Tender Hearts for over 3 years. This was our third daycare in a 1.5 year span. I am an older parent and this being my only child I was very sensitive to things I probably wouldn't have been to in my 20's or even early 30's. Finding Tender Hearts has been a godsend for my family and my son. He has flourished in the loving and safe environment provided by all the staff there. The greatest test of success has been how happy my son is when he is dropped off and picked up. Tender Heart's staff has become part of our extended framily and all the kids there part of my son's village. I wouldn't trade any one of them for the world. My only regret is that we hadn't found it sooner.

As a full time working mom of 3 I can tell you I completely understand how dropping your kids off at daycare everyday is a very difficult thing to do. Finding a place that makes you all feel safe, comfortable and at ease can be a challenge. For that reason I am writing a review of Tenderhearts Daycare in Auburn, ME.
In 2008 I was new to the Auburn area and looking for a daycare for my two small children. My youngest was just barely 2 and my son was a little over 3. I called this daycare facility and had an interview with the owner shortly after. I found this daycare to be clean, well organized, structured with loving care from everyone that the children interact with. I decided to take my children to Tenderhearts and it was the best decision I ever made!
The staff is professional and fun! My kids always came home with projects they had done for the day and exciting stories about the activities they were involved in. My children today are 6 and 8 and still rave about Tenderhearts! They love the staff and the owner! We moved to a smaller town outside of Auburn in 2010 once the kids started school so we could no longer take them to Tenderhearts but I am confident that if I pulled in to the driveway today I'd have two very excited kids
: ) Take my word for it - you can trust this daycare with your children. They will take care of them just as well as a family member and they will make you feel at ease in leaving your little ones. They are structured, there are rules, they eat healthy and are encouraged to be hygenic and use manners. Lastly I would like to say that this daycare is HIGHLY affordable! In comparison with other area daycares, and considering the quality of care, this center is very affordable!
Highly recommend this daycare - the owners are wonderful people that your children will remember for a lifetime!
Want your kids to be in daycare but not in a center environment.. Send them to Tenderhears daycare.. they are very structured...they have learning time play time reading time...one on one time... the workers are wonderfu with the children... My mother in law told me abot this daycare. (her kid attended as well) My youngest went to ths daycare for 10 years and it was the best thing I could of done for her... Plenty of room for the kids to play.. lots of interaction with all age groups well supevised..room to run outside.... My daugher loved the food... she was alwas clean when I picked her up not matter if I showed up early or right on time.. she was alwas excited to go see Doris and stil askes to go see her and she is in highschool now.. Tenderhearts daycare is very warm and inviting..
Both of my daughters have been going to this daycare for most of their lives. We have had nothing but great experiences with the staff who run the daycare. My children have always been well taken care of.
My oldest is in school now and is doing extremely well both academically and behaviorally. This is in big part thanks to the time they spent at Tenderhearts Daycare. My younger one loves going there and always talks about her friends and the fun she has when she's there.
I've heard horror stories about other daycares and wouldn't dream of bringing my children anywhere else. I would highly recommend bringing your children to Tenderhearts Daycare.
My two children have attended this daycare since 2007, and still attend today. This is a wonderful, well organized in-home daycare that provides a high quality, structured, clean environment for children to develop and grow. The staff are involved and caring, many are long term employees. This daycare has an excellent reputation in the area and was recommended to me by several coworkers and friends. As a working parent, I must have a safe and reliable place for my children while I am at work; this is it.
