Cape Care Preschool’s teachers and staff aim to provide a nurturing, engaging environment and experience for children. The preschool is working towards NAEYC accreditation, and providing the highest quality early childhood learning program for children ages 3 through 5 years old. The curriculum promotes kindergarten readiness along with age appropriate educational and social activities and experiences. Cape Care preschool uses Maine Early Learning Guidelines while working with families to reach children's developmental learning goals. Cape Care Preschool offers community-based programs during a child’s day, such as dance and swimming. Cape Care Before and After school programs, are designed to meet the developmental needs of children ages 3-12. The program aims to provide children with a structured part of their day where they are given time to socialize with friends, as well as participate in fun, active, educational extracurricular activities. The program is rated as 3 on the Quality for ME rating scale.
