My 1-year-old daughter went to The Learning Garden for approximately 2.5 months and what happened to us is something that I hope doesn't happen to anyone else.
We were kicked out because my daughter was not developmentally ready to move to the next room. I was notified by Raquel (the director/owner) that there were families on the waiting list needing into the Crawlers room. According to her, my daughter was not ready for the toddler room (was not yet walking/crawling, not feeding herself, and not ready to sleep on a cot) therefore we were given one months notice to find a new daycare.
The reason that my daughter is delayed is due to a medical condition called an Omphalocele. I feel that they discriminated against my daughter for not being up to speed or not developing as quickly as other kids her age.
I would not recommend this childcare center to anyone.
Would not recommend to others. Building is beautiful but that's about it. Unfriendly overall. Very disappointed. Money first- kids second. With three kids and multiple experiences with schools/daycares over the years, I can say that this has been our only bad experience. "Don't judge a book by it's cover. "
