Description: The Nelson County Community Early Childhood Council provides services to 21 child care and preschool sites, and 2 head start centers in both private and public settings. The Nelson County Community Early Childhood Council members maintain an active involvement in community childcare and early education programs. Our members listen to the needs of parents and respond to the special circumstances that many children and families must navigate to secure safe and enriching environments.
