Our Mission:
It is the mission of Mrs. Jolie’s Home Day Care Learning Center to provide quality childcare in a safe, warm environment for the children. Through learning activities we will assist, teach children in ways that enhance their character and develop their minds and bodies.
Mrs. Jolie, who is fluent in both English and Spanish, has been taking care of children for over 17 years now in the Orlando area. Her love for children is matched by her expert ability to cultivate a passion for exploration, and encourage creativity and positive self-esteem. The newly remodeled learning center is fully equipped with a wide array of age appropriate toys, a library/music room, educational games, an outdoor play area, fun and love! Mrs. Jolie and her teachers operate with the philosophy that service to children, parents and the community is the priority. With that in mind, we offer flexible and dependable scheduling in order to best support our families.
Because our program offers a curriculum based on D.A.P. (Developmentally Appropriate Practices) we do many different things each day. Here is a breakdown of some of the kinds of activities we spend time on each day:
Daily indoor activities include: circle time, creative art projects, music and movement, science and social activities.
Daily outdoor activities include: playground fun, gardening, games, art projects.
We also do lots of special enrichment activities that include beginner’s science experiments, learning Spanish, and holiday time arts and crafts.
At Mrs. Jolie’s Home Day Care, your child will have the opportunity to grow mentally, emotionally, and socially. Through love, guidance, and commitment we provide an atmosphere in which children can develop self-respect, self-reliance and self-discipline.
