Hi! I am in the process of getting licensed to open my own childcare. I have 7+ years of experience and many references. I have 2 sons (6 months and an 11-year-old) and a 13-year-old daughter. I was a preschool teacher for 5+ years and did plenty of child care before that. I am a step 7 on the Oregon registry with a large variety of certifications. I personally know how hard it is to find someone trustworthy to leave your kids with which is why I had quit my job 11 years ago to pursue a career as a preschool teacher. I had been given an opportunity to work at the preschool my daughter went to and loved it until the owner of the preschool decided to move on and up in the world. I ended up landing a great job in medical after that and have been doing that since(about 6 years). I now have a 6-month-old son and finding working in the medical field is stressful enough right now and the thought of leaving him to go back to full time is just unthinkable so I thought... why not go back to what I love. I am looking for 1 or 2 families to join us in play and learning. I believe in structured fun and enjoying the outdoors. I truly believe kids learn best thru play so there will be plenty of that! We love art and adventure! I buy mostly organic food. Definitely all organic fruits and veggies. If this is something that sounds like it would be a good fit please email me!
