Very inconsistent hours, a lot of closures and way too much screen time. This provider claims to love what she does, but it is clear that she doesn't. Certain kids are forced to take long naps in a separate dark room, while others are allowed to watch movies. She claims that the tv is only on during arrival and closure each day, but that is simply not the case. Last week my son watched at least 3 hours and 40 minutes worth of movies in just one day. Each year she shaves hours of the closing time and opens later and later. She doesn't honor her own contract and summer hours that she creates but expects families to honor it. I think it's time she retires and remembers that these children are our everything, she is working for these families, not the other way around. It feels like mistreatment and abuse that you are forced to endure until you can make different childcare arrangements. We are counting down being done with this daycare and owner.
