New Beginnings Early Learning Center

I had to complete an observation for my degree and I went here to complete it. I don't know much else to say except they didn't even try to impress me. I was in a two-year-old classroom and the children played with play-doh for over two hours. they were not allowed to get up and move around. Children were falling asleep from boredom but were made to stay awake. When one child started getting antsy and couldnt sit still, one of the teachers grabbed him up out of his seat by his arm. I almost walked out right there. Teachers were yelling at kids, they were grabbing them by their arms to direct them places, it was just not good. And the fact that they knew I was recording every little thing they did, it makes me wonder what happens when there is no observer. From what i saw in my few hours there, I don't recommend considering this place for your child.

Bad people. Cheat people out of money. Calls CPS when you confront them as well as make threats. Do not take your babies they will be mistreated and how the state still have them able to open and operate, is beyond anyone's understanding!

The place still has issues but the new director and asst director are good. They're professional and they know what they're doing and don't get all confrontational like last ones did. See improvements happening and my kids love new directors, they hug them to pieces. Some teachers need replaced but I think the new managers will get good ppl in there

Please, please, PLEASE do not take your precious babies to this "daycare." I have NEVER SEEN a more unprofessional environment such as this. Every single worker except one is ghetto, rude. Sneaking in on my kids I notice frustrated workers. The customer service is awful and the director doesn't know her head from her a**. Seems like the entire owners family is there working and they think they have a right to talk to you all crazy because they have no fear of being fired. I think these ghetto establishments move from one place to another once they keep getting shut down! The owner has his ghetto friends in there standing around talking all crazy. I do not want my children around these unknown men! Lexington needs more 24 hour daycares! I didn't have a choice for a few weeks but to send my kids here and I eventually quit my night job and stayed home with my children to avoid this place!!! If you care about the wellbeing of your children, please do not send them there.
