Lakewood Montessori

We recently moved out of Lee's Summit due to my husbands new job and we wish we could have taken Lakewood Montessori with us. My 3 year old asks everyday if we will "move home" again because he misses the staff and classmates at Lakewood Montessori.

We love the new owners, they have done a masterful job of implementing new ideas, software and learning methods that only benefit the development of the children. I was especially impressed by how BrightWheel software kept us in the loop and also tracked how my child progressed.

One thing we will really miss are the three yearly assessments. This was a comprehensive view of where my child stood according to universally agreed upon milestones for children of various ages. A parent conference after each assessment with the director helped us identify things we could work on at home to supplement our child's Montessori education.

Thank you Lakewood Montessori for being a shining light in our lives. And please save a spot for us if/when we move back!

We have been at Lakewood Montessori for 5 years and absolutely love them! Everybody is so welcoming and caring. My son has moved on to 1st grade now and still gets greeted by name like an old friend when we pick up my daughter. It makes it easier to drop off my daughter knowing that she enjoys it, asking us if she can go on her days off. The overall environment is very calm and peaceful and it suited perfectly for my children. I also love how there is not a high turn over with the teachers and management. I very highly recommend Lakewood Montessori!
