The office manager. Reyna Perez, at this school refused a $500 donation and a pledge for at least $500 from a donor. Why?, she created a distractive situation with her school by bringing her personal issues because she blocked a man who was protect his loan to Ms. Perez. Ms Perez put herself ahead of the betterment of the children she is said to actually help. Refusing a $500 donation from a donor for the kids education because of personal reasons tells me that Ms Perez is trying to have early retirement from a city job at the expense of bringing extra funds during an era of budget cuts. I run businesses and if an employee of mine refused a gift, I would put this employee of an Performance Improvement plan and if they didn't perform better then termination.

I offered to donate $500 to the Hawaiian Avenue Early Education Center for supplies for the children, but for reasons the manager Ms. Perez refused my donation. I'm sure that $500 would get a few supplies. It seems that the school is doing well without my $500 donation. I will find another school and give on a quarterly basis.
