I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Both of my grandsons attended MOC Head Start. Our oldest went from age 2 to 5 and our youngest attended from 16 months until we relocated at the age of 2 years 3 months. There just are words to express the how wonderful this program is. Both boys loved going to school and it has prepared our oldest for kindergarten better than I could have imagined. The entire staff (teachers, aids, and administration) are the most professional educators I have ever met. MOC is truly a family and I will miss all of them terribly.

The bus monitor is an unfriendly jerk. We have had 2 issues with her in one week. No smile, just what looks like aggression. Her tone of voice and snappy attitude towards me makes me nervous about putting my child on a bus with her. I realize it's early but these are innocent preschool-aged children.

*please note this has NOTHING to do with the bus driver*

The staff at the school has been wonderful, this has been our only issue so the rating is solely based on the bus monitor. If there was a way to rate "0 stars," I would pick that one.

About the Provider

Head Start provides comprehensive early education and support services for children ages three to five and their families. In addition to providing center-based and home-based preschool education, the program provides supportive services in the areas of health and dental care, nutrition, special education, parent skill workshops and social services. Children are provided with a daily lunch and breakfast or snack, which meet all federal, and state nutrition guidelines. Door-to-door transportation is provided at many of the centers. Classrooms typically operate from September through May, Mondays through Fridays and from 8:30am to 2pm.
