Please do not send your child here. I had my 5 month old child at this Sunshine House for three days and decided to pull her out. She got diaper rash on the first day, which she has only had a couple of times. By day two, it had gotten much worse. We told the director on day three to apply the Butt Paste we provided at every diaper change, and to change her every hour unless she was sleeping. They only applied it once at the end of the day, and it also appeared they applied another ointment underneath as it was shiny. She had open sores by the end of the day.
On day one my child had only eaten 1.5 bottles, which for an 8 hour period is far less than she normally eats. She also started having several BM’s a day, which she usually only has one a day. We believe they were feeding her expired milk.
I had no way of communicating to the workers directly caring for her. Everything is filtered through the director, including the app messaging.
This is the wors center anyone could ever work at or put their child in! I'm a recent college graduate and this my very first job in my field and they showed me HOW NOT TO treat a child and WHAT NOT to do in a facility! VERY POOR center
