My 3 year old son was kicked out of planet kids academy by Darlene. We had a parent teacher conference that we had about my sons speech. I wanted to get him the help he needed right away, but Darlene told me I would have to wait 3 months. I did what any good parent would do andhad him evaluated by his pediatrician. The evaluation came back as normal speech developement. Darlene even told us she evaluated him. My sons teacher Mrs. Scarlet who is uneducated w/ no college education had also said he had a speech problem. When Darlene got word back from the pediatrician about the evaluation she kicked my son out of school. Planet kids academy is over priced and the teachers are not educated.
My 3 year old daughter was kicked out of Planet Kids, Madisonville because I complained too much because the director, Darlene, didn't pay their teachers the week we all evacuated for hurricane Gustave! I argued that we had all paid the HIGH months tuition and that it was only fair that the grossly underpaid teachers not be punished. Sadly, they kept our money, never reimbursed anyone, kicked out the teachers sons' whom had told me of Planet Kids actions and kicked out my three year old. Darlene Pevoto, is a snake in the grass who hugged me in her office when I came to discuss the teachers and sent me a certified letter the next day dismissing my daughter.
