Description: Yuma County Head Start is a center based program serving 34 families in Yuma County. We have two centers, one located in Wray, Colorado and the other in Yuma, Colorado. The communities are approximately 30 miles apart. The grantee for our program is the Wray School District RD-2. Our management staff includes the RD-2 Superintendent as our Executive Director, a Head Start Director, Family Services Coordinator and Education Coordinator. We employ a teacher, assistant teacher, and classroom aide in each center. Our food and transportation services are provided through the respective school districts.
