Description:
Our Mission at Young Scholars Preschool Center is to provide a nurturing and safe learning environment. We believe that children learn in four primary styles: visual, auditory, read-write and kinesthetic. In order to provide a beneficial, well rounded, fun and safe learning environment, we use multiple teaching techniques! Children benefit from multiple styles and tools when teaching and learn through play in the traditional hands-on approach. We teach using a variety of these methods, in various ways, through repetition, individual attention, group activities and play.
Our goal is to educate infants and toddlers with the basic and appropriate fundamentals as they grow and develop. Our effective teaching methods enable children to learn in a fun and easy way, through; play, flash cards, song, reading, educational lessons, games, activities and dvd’s. The success and development of each child are of paramount importance.
At the center children also learn; sharing, to be polite, take care of things, respect one another, and clean up their area when done. The program is designed to meet the social, academic, personal and physical needs of the children from six (6) weeks to five (5) years old.

My grandson attends Young Scholars, I can't brag enough on Miss Carrie. She has found her calling and it is with the little ones. Within a couple of weeks of him starting there, he was using his manners and his words. He has learned so much at 4 years old that most kids would learn in Kindergarten and 1st grade. I would highly recommend Young Scholars.
Sadly after having our son here for over 6 months he all of a sudden started coming home in wet cloths(even tho he is potty trained) and would cry that he doesn't want to go here anymore. We found this behavior out of charter for our 2 and half year old son. Went and told the owner why we were removing our child and she replied that was to bad.
The education for the kids lacking the say they do a lot of teaching and claim hire learning center, but after 7 months are son had not gained any further knowledge, tracing the alphabet everyday is not educational.
There is a very high turn over rate of employee's at this place. Mostly due to the poor treatment from the owner. I have seen this first hand. This place also has 8 state violation's in the last 6 months.
So in closing I would high suggest parents keep looking past this place.
