My son is a crazy 4 year old. I have been looking for a daycare for him, and while touring the facility, noticed a lot of crafts randomly hanging from the walls and ceiling. Makes me nostalgic for my elementary school years. The teachers were extremely polite and seemed to truly care about the kids. The rooms are separated to allow the smaller children to play with their own age...and size I assume. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. Fun playground secured inside a fence. The only down side, is its apparently popular because of the waiting list. So apparently they are doing something right.
My daughter went to Young Explorers for about a month. I did not like it at all. When first signing up it seemed great, but after only about a week I hated it and was not comfortable with it. When I walked in no one ever, not once, asked who I was checked which child I was picking up. This never happened morning or night there was no security the check in and out system is terrible. It was this way when her father came and picked her up as well, who the staff had never seen and had no way of knowing he was okay to pick her up. Every time that I came to pick her up or drop her off the teacher was sitting in the corner on her phone or eating. I came at different times each day so it was not just the time of day I came. I never seen them interacting with the children at all. I don't think there was any structure what so ever. I would not suggest sending any child here!
