Description:
Our Center is not only a child care center offering quality care and education to children, it is a community within itself. Parents and teachers work together to foster growth and development in our children. We partner with parents through special events, community service and volunteer opportunities, book fairs, picnics, celebrations of staff milestones and achievements, parades, preschool graduations, camp-outs, and everyday communication. Often our alumni come back and volunteer when they are old enough, and sometimes come back years later to teach or enroll their own children in our program.
Our commitment to our families and children includes:
- Quality care and education by knowledgeable staff
- A safe, nurturing environment built on trust and respect
- Growth through observation, assessment and support
- Encouraging individuality, independence and tolerance
- Staff-Parent partnerships
- Individualized attention through primary care-giving
- Assistance for children with special needs
- A diverse Center community that serves all economic levels, ethnic origins and family units

We are so grateful to Larisa, the director of the academy and our wonderful teacher Svetlana (preschoolers #6)! Svetlana is friendly, caring, kind, but also good at explaining the rules and enforcing consequences when necessary. My daughter have learned so much for a short period of time!

My children went there for a month, then suddenly, without warning the director decided to drop us because my kids have "special needs". Not retarded, just a bit behind because they were born 6 weeks early. Not walking, talking yet, and so on.
The director didn't want the responsibility, whatever that means. I didn't bother asking because we were already considering looking for another daycare center. My kids were often dirty, with food in their hair, and poop on various parts of their diaper area. That continued to be a problem even though my wife and I told them about it twice.
I had to waste vacation days staying home because of this unexpected nuisance. We demanded our $50 application fee be returned, which they did.
