Front desk staff was amazing. Kind, helpful, and it is clear this school is bible based. I’m sure most of the teachers are great.
Unfortunately my experience with my child’s teacher was awful. She was very cold and seemed annoyed and frustrated every time I interacted with her. I withdrew my child after 3 weeks when she told me, in front of them, that my child scored very low on a standardized test they were given for early reading skills, and that they had bad concentration issues. I’m a former preschool teacher and I cannot fathom giving a 4 year old a test on tablet with zero direction or explanation and expecting them to do well. Of course he doesn’t have any reading skills- this isn’t even his first MONTH at school! Absolutely insane. He’s only ever used a tablet to play games.
We switched schools to a place where they aren’t giving 4 year olds standardized testing before they’ve ever been taught anything. He not only is on grade level but is ahead in some areas with no problems concentrating. A lot of worry for nothing, all because his teacher decided to be unprofessional and make incorrect assumptions based off of nothing.
