Connect, Seek Advice, Share Knowledge
I DO NOT recommend this center for your little ones, especially your 1 and 2 year old children. I had two children attend here (1&5 yrs). The owner claimed that my one year old cried too much and was a disruption to her older students. She also stated that she was tired of "accommodating" my child. These "accommodations" consisted of giving my child a teddy bear, holding/consoling, allowing "extra nap time" ect. (You would think that as a mother herself, these WOULD NOT be considered as an "accommodation") The owner appears to be "professional" however, her professionalism became nonexistent after discussing her frustrations with MY ONE YEAR OLD DAUGHTER.
My one year old is very very loving and loves to be underneath her loved ones (including her teachers). Unfortunately, "crying/fussing" is still a huge part of her communication. However, that is no excuse to neglect my child's needs. The owner fails to recognize that our children have individual personalities and her expectations are unrealistic. Her classroom is a mixed between the ages of 1-5 and the younger children ARE NOT separated from the older children. The owner lacks patience, awareness of special needs, professionalism, reliability, empathy, and so many more qualities that you would expect your childcare provider to have.
IF YOUR LITTLE ONES ARE NOT ABLE TO TALK, I WOULD NOT ENROLL THEM IN THIS CENTER.
