Western Maine Center For Children

WMCFC is committed to maintaining a warm and caring environment rich in stimulating learning and social experiences. Our principle is to serve on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of the children in our care. We know that positive experiences in the early years of a child’s life form the foundation for a rewarding, productive and healthy future. We welcome children and families of all race, gender, religious, political and life style preferences. We believe that a child’s parent(s) or guardian(s) are first and foremost their most crucial teacher; we see ourselves as a resource and colleagues in enhancing their development. We believe an atmosphere of respect, patience and kindness is essential in maintaining the ideal environment for learning in the early years. We strive to role model these practices and work with the children to foster this atmosphere.
