Provide good health habits and develop motor and manipulative skills. 7. Stimulate the child to be curious, to explore, and to question. 8. Help the child learn self-control and grow in independence and responsibility. 9. Provide some background for adequacy in social situations and developing happy qualities, i.e., fun, humor, and healthy optimism. 10. Communicating with parents in the understanding of their child's emotional and physical needs. The fulfillment of these needs increases a child's chances of success in school. Parents are welcome visitors at all times.
