My children (ages 7, 9, 9 and 11) attend after school care at Cheerful Chaps. They are provided transportation from school to daycare. They have fun with their friends, play and enjoy the time there. With only 2 childcare options in the area for their division - Cheerful Chaps has been 11/10 times better than the YMCA was for my children. The only set back for the kids is snack isnt provided at past daycares they were provided snack/drink. & if they take snacks in the morning they usually eat them before daycare. Other than that, we have had a wonderful experience.
I had both of my small children in Cheerful Chaps for a while now. I've had things stolen from my children and constantly staff members using supplies for my children on others. The last incident that took place was when I went to pick up my son early last week. My son was eating his snack, standing up because they don't have enough chairs for all the kids, and when I walked in there were two staff members attending to the two-three-year-old class. I didn't realize until I went to hold my child that the back of his pants was soaked. First, I thought it was just juice but when I checked his diaper it was full. His diaper was sagging, I mean it was over loaded, heavy. The staff members had not been checking on me child. I called the head woman, Judy twice to report this incident and she would not call me back. I immediately pulled my child because this is child neglect.
My baby nephew goes to this "Christian" childcare center, but when I went with my sister the other day to pick him up I seen they have a woman working with the babies who known all over Martinsville Danville local for sexual perversions. The other lady said her real name is rhonda. We taking him out of the day care when we find a new one. Discussing!
