Description: Bennington County Head Start and Early Head Start site; Head Start supports families in their role as primary teachers of their children. Children learn about themselves and the world through their play. We provide an individualized developmental curriculum for every child. Program uses Creative Curriculum, DECA and Second Step Social Emotional curriculum supports. Curriculum also includes art, daily outside play, dramatic play, math, science, social studies, language, and literacy, regular daily routine, sand and water play, movement and music activities. Families participate in the program through Policy Council and other learning and social connection opportunities. Two meals and one snack provided. Transportation may be available. Full day and Full year options available.
