UVU Wee Care Center

I have to say that I was super surprised by the comment above. I have been bringing my children to the Wee Care Center for the past five years and have never once had a problem with the quality of care they were receiving. The teachers there are qualified, trained, and enthusiastic about my children and what they can help my child learn individually. There have been many occasions when my children have raved about their time at the center. They come home daily with a paper stating what my child learned individually that day, as well as with newly learned songs, artwork, and curiosity. The teachers take time one on one to work with each parent and make them feel comfortable. They are constantly engaged with the children instead of spending the majority of their time writing assessments and filling out paperwork which i found to be the case at Head Start. The move to the new building provided an increased opportunity and increased resources to further the education they were receiving at the old building. I found that as i was learning in class, my children were learning as well, and loving it. The management and staff are willing to address any concerns about just about anything. I feel like a part of a Wee Care Family and the majority, if not all, of the other parents feel the same. I don't know how i could have gone back to school and taken care of my children in any other way. It will be a sad day when we have to leave the Wee Care Center behind, I will always be grateful for their service.

I would never, ever bring my children here. This place is unprofessional and the center seems to have gotten worse as the years go by. This place deserves a makeover including all management and staff. The staff that works there seem to be quiet and don't talk to parents much about what the children are "Supposed" to be learning. My children haven't learned anything from the DayCare. Personally, I believe that this DayCare is what it is called, a daycare. Not a learning center. I have no proof that my children learned anything from this daycare. When I come in to pick up my children, they always tell me what they did that day. They always tell me that they did nothing, and learned nothing. Makes me wonder what is really going on with this place. I know that it is used for students, but I also know that this place is supposed to teach children. I can hire a babysitter that would do more for my children. In fact, I already have. Thanks a lot.
