We are located directly next to Florence Rideout Elementary School (FRES) & Whiting Park in Wilton, New Hampshire.
Being located next to FRES and Whiting Park offers our children and families many benefits including, a one-stop convenience for families with children ranging from infants to 5th grade. Also, Tumbleweeds Child Care attendees often have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor walks and picnics.
Tumbleweeds Child Care Center, LLC provides a full range of child care services to children in infancy through school age. We take the responsibility of caring for your children seriously. We work to nurture their emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Our staff and teachers are committed to partnering with parents to encourage a child’s growth, while instilling the knowledge and love of learning.
Tumbleweeds currently offers child care, preschool services, as well as after school care and summer camps. Our curriculum focuses on early childhood brain development through play based activities with tools and programs to encourage cognitive development in children. Each of our classrooms provides kids with a clean, healthy, and safe environment, where they are encouraged to create, build confidence, and explore. We are proud to have a team of loving teachers who feel called to teach young children.
Director’s Information
Our center director, Stacy Gardner has over 20 years experience in early childcare education and holds the credential of a Child Development Associate.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood education (ECE). CDAs have knowledge of how to put the CDA Competency Standards into practice and understanding of why those standards help children move with success from one developmental stage to another. Put simply, CDAs know how to nurture the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social development of children.
Teaching Qualifications
Providing the highest quality child care begins with hiring the best teaching staff possible. Each classroom has a lead/associate teacher and an assistant/floater teacher that meets NHCCLU requirements. Tumbleweeds teachers complete no less than 18 hours of professional development each year through early childhood education conferences, online courses & training.
