I am so shocked at how this facility has treated me. I talked to the director and was told that their was one spot left in the infants room. Went on a tour Monday and told them I wanted the spot. I even offered to put a deposit down and was told that wasn’t needed. I can pay all of that once he starts on the 30th. The director even told me she would prorate the week for me. I called on Tuesday to let them know that the doctor said it will take 3 days to fill out the physical. The director told me it was okay that they would hold his spot. She even confirmed his name, but called me by a different name. I was unsure why she assumed I was Lashanna but I continued on, On Friday, my mother in law asked to go see the place, the director refused to come out and speak to us. On Monday I called and asked to speak to the director and she was very rude. She told me she didn’t care what she told me they didn’t have a spot for him. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. I would love to speak to the owner of this establishment, and when I called to get that information I heard the director in the background saying don’t give her any information. I understand you gave his spot to someone else but the rudeness was not okay. Business owners you got to do better in hiring these faces of your business. They can make or break them.
UPDATE: I just got a call from the director threatening me to get her attorney involved cause I posted this review. She literally hung up on me and refused to give me any information but calls me back and threatens me. Wow!
Great staff, well managed and always has my baby girls best interest at heart!! The teachers are caring and knowledgeable. The center is spacious and clean, bright and colorful with an Awesome infant room! Switching to Tiny Treasures was the best decision I made for my daughter. Thanks Tiny Treasures
My children have attended this day care for the last 6 year so the information that I am about to share about the tiny treasure family and I do say family because that is what they are to me and my children! I am truly offended by the comments made by the person above! I have moved across town and still drive my kids to a day care where I know my kids are safe and they would treat them like one of their own! Every child has accidents including my own my oldest feel and broke her arm at 3 there was no wrong doing on the daycares part I reviewed the video tape (which they have video camera's in every room) I was notified immediately and my child was well taken care of until I got there!! This is the kind of daycare that will call you if you child has been sick just to check on you!! When my grandfather past away and I had funeral arrangements to make and was stressed to the limit my day care family stepped in and took care of my kids not on a normal Monday thru Friday but they took them on a Saturday just to relieve my stress! You will never meet a more careing bunch of folks in your life!!
Both my grand daughters have gone here since they were born. I was not too excited that they had to go to a daycare but I trusted my daughter in law and son knew what they were doing. . With one of having ear problems and the other seizures I feel there is no other place that would love and care for them more. They both love going here and some days they actually don't even want to go home. Very secure and clean. Even an alarm code on the front door. I love this place and cant think of a better place for them to be when mom and dad are at work. I am giving them a 4 1/2 star rating because I feel that no matter where we are or what kind of business you are running that nothing is ever perfect but they sure do come pretty close to it.
I have 3 children at this daycare and have never been happier with a daycare and their workers. They care so much for the children and their families. They have taken time to come visit my children in the hospital and pick up my oldest from school when I couldn't. My 2 youngest have been there since they were 6 weeks old and I would y trust another place with my children. Many of the workers are also happy to help watch the kids after hours and weekend. We are more then just friends we are basically family now.
The female parent who wrote this review has stated inaccurate information. The information she has posted regarding refusal to make medical payments is false. The insurance company was notified of a pending bill on an injury claim. The child was evaluated and released from a childrens E.R. because there was no injury. The mother has refused to provide an accurate bill from the emergency provider because what she is interested in is a cash payment to her instead of to the medical facility that did the evaluation. As a matter of fact, she wanted to trade day care services for more than the amount of the bill that she did submit to the Director so that her child could stay for a period longer than the CCRI voucher covered. After she was advised that the insurance company would not allow that type of trade but rather would pay the medical provider, she has yet to provide vital information that the insurance company is need of in order to process the claim.
The writer also makes personal attacks and references against the Directors family by incorrectly stating where the Director lives, and where her children attend school. None of that information is pertinent to her claim.
The writer also inaccurately describes the area as low class where black people can barely afford to live. There are many hard working people of all races in this area. Comments of the type made by the writer are derogatory in nature and are an attack on the residents of the general area.
Tiny Treasures is described as a 4 star center. In actuality it is a 5 Star Center which is routinely inspected by the State of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County Health Department, and the Charlotte Fire Department for compliance of all pertinent rules and regulations. At this Child Care Center, The health and safety of all children is of utmost importance.
This is a poor quality daycare with high teacher turn over rating. The director never let's parents get too close to teachers because she have some insecurities. She lies to parents and lies to employes about the daycare. A friend of mine worked there and is only allowed a 15 min break out of the whole day ( thats illegal, esecially when working a ten hour day). The director has cameras and audio recording which is good for parents but not so good for employees because the director listen in on private conversation. (this is a privacy violation). On top of all that she treats her staff like slaves, Cleaning and scrubbing walls and sinks with toothbrushes while she stands around and do nothing. As for children, the high turn over rate is horrible and most of the time they are out of ratio. Parents would drop their kids off in one room and throughout the day the kids are constantly moving around from class to class because of ratio issues. Bad daycare that needs some serious fixing internally.
