I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I’ve been with Todd and her childcare for 2 years. & the experience I had with her was NOT the best. She changes her policy like crazy whenever she don’t like something she also changed her hours over the course of time which really limited us. And her price is ridiculous $165 a week which is too much she also doesn’t go down on prices once the child is potty trained. We also had to pay $165 during the day care provider vacation time which was really ridiculous because why don’t you have staff being covered while your out? So we had to pay for childcare at her home while she was vacationing while I had to still pay out of pocket to have someone actually watch her during that time. She always suggested that we used our vacation time , like lady what do you mean I shouldn’t have to use that time during your time how does that benefit me. During Covid she also had us out weeks at a time still charging us to hold our child’s spot and still now till this day I really feel like she took advantage of a lot of families in there that lady was literally closing every other week , no bull she had us missing work steady closing due to any sick sign she seen from a kid. Remind you kids get sick and spread germs like crazy period. before the pandemic started colds was going around bad or whatever but that’s up to you to make sure your doing your part by cleaning and sanitizing after the kids. She only started cleaning during the pandemic and when she did she only did it about 3 times When it should’ve been done occasionally. It’s so much more but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE PROVIDER TO ANYONE. KEEP LOOKING ELSEWHERE!!!!

YOUR CHILD WAS ENROLLED FOR OVER TWO YEARS, THIS IS A RETALIATION REVIEW. Thank you for your feedback and point of view. I want to take this time to address your concerns. You were enrolled with THBH for two years, and you are only now complaining because of what, me closing due to the spread of a communicable disease? 1- As I stated before, the CDC does not operate my business nor set my policies. I will continue to do what is in the best interest of all the other children, families, and staff to remain healthy. This means I will need to close when I see more than 1-2 children getting the same illness. This helps to prevent other children from getting ill. My business is professionally cleaned and maintained daily. Chores No More and Tru Steam are who we use every 90 days. Parents are aware of this as I post pictures on the parent app when the home is being cleaned. This is why the parent handbook advises you to have back up care because times will arise when we must close unexpectedly. 2- Each family received an email about why operating hours would be changing from 6 pm to 5:30 pm. It would help if you would have taken the time to read them. You had the option to exit the program if it no longer suited your working hours yet you did not. I'm confused as to why. 3- Within these last two years, I have provided opportunities where all families were not charged tuition fees to offer some relief. Yes, I set a flat rate of $165 for all ages. Yes, I helped in potty training not ony your child but all of my little people. Check the surrounding area, and you will see the average charge for a two- to three-year-old is upwards of $170.00 or more. My rate is very reasonable. 4- You pay for your child’s spot, not when they attend childcare. Again, check any childcare center, and you will see they are the same across the board; you will pay regardless of being open, close, out sick, or on vacation. 5- We have no citations, never have, and continue to have excellent standing with the State. I always notify parents when we have a visit and suggest that they check our status at any time with the state. I am proud to say that we were used as a training site and featured on the news twice over the four years. **Your complaint is unfounded and is retaliation to a court lawsuit for tuition, but again I appreciate your point of view and feedback. It is funny how parents have no issues/ complaints about the care provided until they are not able to “walk over you or your policy.” With each change that I made to my health and business policies, each family was provided the opportunity to give feed back and exit if it was no longer a good fit for their needs. NO ONE LEFT, including you. We have a open door policy, and I offer each family to see the home (which I do not live in) before enrolling. Again, we will not be a good fit for every family, but my families know they are in GREAT hands. Again, you are complaining but never left after the first change that made you unhappy. I hope this helps and you have a FABULOUS DAY!
