About the Provider

Description:

The Children's Station of Brewster has been in operation since 1997. We have remained a trusted childcare provider by offering a safe, secure, family-friendly facility with programs that focus upon the development of children. We are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Creative learning experiences are emphasized with a concentration on problem solving, reasoning skills and essential life skills for individual success. Age appropriate academic readiness skills are an integral part of the learning experience. Preparation for Common Core based instruction is also integrated into the curriculum. In addition to the theme-based academic programs, children participate in activities such as movement, music, yoga and sign language. A sense of community is emphasized and positive interaction with parents is maintained. Most of the teachers hold their Child Development Associate credential and are Medication Administration Training certified. The Children's Station accepts infants through pre-k. Daily lunch is prepared on-site and snacks are provided.

I am happy to say both my children attended The Children's Station of Brewster. The facility is a warm and nurturing environment where trained professionals provide age appropriate lessons and experiences for each child. You (the parent and child) always feel like you're their favorite. The staff is attentive to each child making them feel special and important within the class and community. My children were also well prepared for kindergarten when the time came. I would highly recommend The Children's Station of Brewster!
