The Youth Academy: I once admired this facility, the facility that my four year old enjoyed and always talked about his friends being at. I have been recommending them to incoming students coming to the university (no more). However, after recent events, this facility particularly the Director and the Owner have shown their true colors behind their outrageous fabricated lies and deceit. The Director in particular who after some thoughts of my own seems to have a personal vendetta against me after I expressed that I did not want my child participating in lead prayer in class. My wife posted something to her personal wall on her FB making a joke in light of a situation, in response the Director of the youth academy seemed to terminate our child from their program. After speaking with them during the day yesterday and speaking again with the owner last night everything was ok and the misunderstanding was resolved. Everyone was friendly and we were invited back with open arms. The next day he was at day all day then went to pick up our child and they handed us a termination notice, because they claimed that we contacted other parents and told them to take their children out of their facility. This is illogical and counterproductive. We have no contact or ties with any other parent or family involved in that facility nor do we have even a minute to spare with our jobs to take the time to make phone calls. How would we even get those phone numbers to do that? They also claimed that they were involved with DHS over the misunderstanding, yet we were not contacted for questioning by DHS which is standard for them to do so about the situation it involved. The Director has fabricated lie after lie, making false accusations to accomplish terminated my child from the program. Even amongst the conflict we were threatened by the director claiming that she knows people in my wife’s work and people at the university that could directly affect me at work, which is not the case there is no way in this world that she could touch me. We have donated toys and provided for class parties only to be treated the way we have. They wouldn’t even see me when I requested a meeting to talk about what is going on and I wanted them to show evidence of these accusations. We have stood by and bit our tongues after observing how certain teachers yell and talk to children the way they do. My son is sad and has been crying because he can’t do show and tell now, my wife in breaking down and tears accusing herself of being a bad mother because she posted a joke and got her son kicked out of day care. All for what? A vendetta against me it seems because I don’t share the same religious beliefs. I am not for sure that is what it’s about, but it has been tense and uncomfortable ever since I requested that my child be removed to help somewhere else instead of engaging in g lead prayer. I will at every opportunity to deter anyone from using this facility and try to show people the true light of those that run it.
