Description:
The Peppermint Tree Child Development Center is a state Certified Center, privately owned, non-sectarian, non-denomination center that offers an enriching program developed for young inquisitive minds. We are proud to be a participating center in the National "strengthening families initiative", expanding our vision to serve not only the children but also as a resource for the whole family. Our Certified, experienced teachers have an average tenure of over 15 years at the Peppermint Tree. This not only shows their dedication, but provides a stable environment where your child is immersed in hands on multi-sensory learning experiences that promote the joy of life long learning. The staff is led by owner/director Valerie Frost-Lewis who holds a Master of Science degree in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.
Additional Information:In addition to our enriching school year programs, we offer a fun summer camp program. Our facility includes on-site swimming pools for daily water fun, expansive grounds where we’ll play ball games, have scavenger hunts, explore nature, paint on our outdoor easels, and create arts & crafts. All throughout the summer we offer special events, such as the Carnival, Scavenger Hunts and more.
Our experienced staff provides plenty of choices for everyone, and fun for all.
Memories to last a lifetime include enriching and entertaining visitors, such as: a petting zoo, a Storyteller, and we are also the home base of Mr. Scott the Music Man who will visit to bring his fun and energizing music and movement program. And, many more!
