The Learning Place has been in business for 38 years, serving Mason and the surrounding areas. Our preschool has been featured in many local newspaper articles as an experienced institution, and this is demonstrated on a daily basis by our professional and caring teaching staff. The director, Carol Lawson, has been with our preschool for 28 years, and teacher Janine McKinney has been with The Learning Place for 31 years. Mrs. Libby Krugman has been with the school for 16 years. Two other teachers have 5+ years with our preschool program. Our mission is to provide a caring preschool atmosphere that values every child and encourages learning, creativity, self-expression, and wholesome interactions with others. Our goal is to create an early childhood education curriculum that enhances the child's growth and learning accomplishments and adequately prepares them to begin elementary school.
