Description: The Learning Cove is a ministry offered by McGregor Baptist Church Preschool on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. We also offer a 3-day a week VPK program on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This kindergarten readiness program prepares children from 1 years of age to Pre-K for their next step on their spiritual, academic and social journey God has planned for them. Children have an opportunity to explore Bible stories, ABCs, 123s, and character traits, such as sharing, through learning centers, art, music, movement, and worship in a fun, safe environment.

Preschoolers' parents, BE AWARE!. This school hires unqualified and racist preschool teachers who have no Knowledge about child development. My 3 year old son who is the only black in his classroom reported being yelled at last Wednesday by his white teacher after he alerted her to his need to use the restroom. My son reacted to this traumatic interaction by peeing on himself. After the accident, my traumatized son was asked to put on a pijama, which is obviously beyond his current developmental capacity. To demonstrate her expertise in child development, the Director told my wife that at his age my son should be able to change his cloth and go the bathroom without alerting the teacher. She further added that the teacher is not allowed to assist my son in dressing himself. At the same time, my wife saw the same teacher helping a white child pull up his pant. I will file a discrimination complaint against this school.
My daughter started at 3yrs old and we are so happy with the results now she is in VPK. She loves her school they teach the kids about the bible and how important is being close to God, my daughter doesnt go to bed without me or daddy reading her favorite book and also she prays everynight we are so proud of her. Everybody is nice and helpful I have to say Miss Joann Santana is the Director assistan and she have been so helpful for us all the time , everybody that work here from the Director to teachers are very conected with your child and parents, my daughter made a big change since she started at The Learning Cove. My son will be starting preschool this August, our family is so blessed and grateful with everybody that work here. For sure I will recommended this school and let good reviews, there are many parents that should know more about Learning Cove.
