The Childrens Korner

Here at The Children’s Korner we believe that the children learn best when they are in a warm, exciting, stimulating, and safe environment surrounded by love and happiness. We do promote pro social behavior here. Each child is encouraged to learn at their own pace both on their own and in a group. Our curriculum is based on each child’s individual abilities.

Our staff is all highly trained and licensed through the Department of Early Education and Care. Each staff person also is trained in First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross as well as has nutrition and choking training. All staff must complete a minimum training hours per year. Any staff member, volunteer, or intern must complete a background check in order to be in the facility and working with the children. Finally, all staff must have on file evidence of an 2 MMR vaccination’s, along with a physical which must be updated yearly.

We stress that every family stay involved in their children’s school life. We do have an open door policy allowing families to come in and visit at any time through out the day. Children always enjoy visits from Mom and Dad. We believe you, the parent or guardian, are the most important people in your child’s life and any parent participation is greatly appreciated.
