I have used this provider for less than 6 months
I enrolled my son here even after feeling iffy about the owner’s attitude during registration. I went against that judgment because I didn’t believe she would have daily interaction with my son as she was not a teacher. I felt judged every morning coming to drop him off. The staff at the time withheld information about my son’s behavior. The 1st time I got a report, the writer mentioned how my son did things “repeatedly” or more than once but I was never notified initially & by that time, I think it was far gone. With that, other policies & hours of operation in mind, I would not recommend this business. Do thorough research & talk to the community before enrolling. I see they have changed their name & am curious to why.
I was an employee here, and the owner was such a nasty woman. I did not like or appreciate the way she would speak to me. She once got upset with me for speaking about wages with another employee (which I later learned is illegal for employees to do). I also later learned that DSS says that teachers with under 6 months of experience cannot be alone with the children. That was my first childcare job, and she had me alone with children many times. That just makes me wonder how many other DSS rules she has/is breaking. Since it was my first childcare job, I was not aware of how to do certain things, and she would get mad at me for not knowing how to do those things. I do not recommend this place for anyone, whether it’s place of employment or childcare, as the owner has broken DSS laws.
