All equipment and furnishings were not in good repair. A hinge on a cabinet door was broken that is attached to the wall over the paper towel dispenser near the sink. The door could be a hazard and possibly hit a child if it falls off the cabinet.

The temperature of potentially hazardous food provided by the child care center for consumption by children shall be 45 degrees Fahrenheit or below, or at 135 degrees Fahrenheit or above at all times, including field trips, catering events, and outdoor service, except during periods of preparation and service immediately prior to consumption. Yogurt sat out at room temperature for approximately two hours before it was consumed and was warm and runny. This is a violation of a requirement in 15A NCAC 18A .2806(h).
