About the Provider
Our Temple Emanuel Preschool provides a loving, caring, and supportive environment for young children and their families. The staff is dedicated to promoting the healthy growth and development of children from two to five years of age. The teachers respect the unique individuality of each child and have a strong commitment to providing a carefully balanced, child-appropriate and experiential program that integrates the secular and Judaic components through the year. This nurturing and affirming environment encourages children to learn and grow through exploration and discovery and to develop social and interpersonal skills. The classroom becomes the center in which children learn about themselves and the world around them.
As a synagogue preschool, we are fully committed to a Judaica program that helps children learn about the Jewish part of their world and life. The customs and traditions of Shabbat and the holidays are experienced through the young child's senses. Family participation is encouraged. An atmosphere of belonging is created through which the children and their families experience the delights of Judaism.
