Description: We are very proud of our program and we are delighted that so many children return to our school after their first year. Our families forge wonderful bonds of friendship and community. If this is your first year with our school, we look forward to having your family become part of our preschool community. Communication is very important to us! Early Childhood Center parents are welcome to stop by the ECC office at any time to talk. We look forward to getting to know both you and your child and sharing a rewarding preschool experience. Our Early Childhood Center is a place where families and children grow and learn together in a nurturing and creative environment. Findings: The complaint alleged on April 12, 2019, the director was seen dragging a child by their wrist down the hallway. The complaint alleged that the director on several occasions has yelled at students and grabbed them by the wrist and yanked them by the arm. Staff reported that they did not visually witness the incident on April 12, 2019, but some heard yelling at an inappropriate level. It was confirmed that on another occasion, a child was grabbed and pulled by the arm forcefully, due to the child's behavior; and at times, the Director does yell or speak in a way that can be intimidating. Facility must orient all staff to the facility's written discipline policy.
