I was unsatisfied with the care for my baby at this center. I used it for two months. There is no security so you can walk in and out as you please. Many times there is no one at the front desk.
My biggest complaints were the constant diaper rash, no communication with me or among staff, and a cranky baby. In the beginning the director said I would be getting daily sheets on my baby's activity and that she could be flexible with my work schedule; both untrue.
The director only allowed my child to attend on certain days because she explained that she didn't have enough space. However a few weeks later there was a new kid in the class full-time. I never got daily activity sheets on my baby so I never knew if he had napped, how many times his diaper was changed or when/how much he ate. Also, the girls that watched over my child never talked to each other. If I had told the girl in the morning that my kid just had his shots, didn't sleep well, or is going thru a developmental stage, etc.; the afternoon girl would complain or tell me things that I had warned the morning girl about. It was also annoying that they expected me to provide wipes/ointment that they share in class but my son was constantly coming home with a rash and no indication of cream to treat it. Of course I was not told about it by the staff either. It got so bad that my child's diaper rash caused a blister.
A few times, I picked up my baby early without notice, where I caught him in a bouncer in front of the tv. There were a ton of other kids which appeared the kid-ratio was way over and they supplemented television for care. I can understand some tv but I believe they had it on all day as my baby would be extremely cranky/fussy like he had been overstimulated all day.
At this day care they wash clothes, which is nice until you end up with other kid's clothes. My child would always be wearing other children's clothes, which one can only assume that other children were wearing my baby's clothes. I also had an instance where my bottles were getting mixed with other children's bottles as well. I understand that they wanted to keep the center clean but it was always disorganized and the girls were constantly apologizing to parents for mix-ups.
Overall, I was extremely frustrated and disappointed with my child's care at this center. They lacked communication where I never knew what was going on with my child. There was no organization with the children's items and the children themselves such as scheduled nap times/play times/ etc. The director seems overworked and clueless where she makes promises but forgets. I'm sure in their personal lives they are good people, but this was not the place for me and my baby.
