About the Provider
Suncatchers was created in 1989 as a one hour before-school enrichment program. In a few years it grew to cover the entire day, from 7 AM until 6 PM to accommodate working parents as well as those who send their children for the constant, ongoing enrichment activities.
Today Suncatchers has 250 children enrolled who attend from Melissa Jones, Baldwin and Adams Middle Schools. The program has always been a safe, nurturing environment, where children can try out new activities and crafts with other children in a friendly, no-pressure atmosphere.
Crafts
Some of the insights and skills that the children have developed over these years has been astounding. The staff at Suncatchers is honored to be able to share their own passion for teaching and varied backgrounds with the children who attend.
