Provider Response: (Contact the State Licensing Office for more information.)
I was noncompliant because I understood the children had to be in care when the actual testing was done. I now know that they only need to be in care for the fire drills and not the testing of the devices (smoke alarms) which happens every 30 days. Going forward, the testing will be done every 30 days whether or not it falls on a weekend or a day the children aren't in care.
