Write a review about St. Paul's Child Development Center (EMERG OPEN). Let other families know what’s great, or what could be improved. Please read our brief review guidelines to make your review as helpful as possible.
Very shady. It was a beautiful place, but as soon as a new director was appointed you saw the unhappiness and felt a horrible vibe. Nothing seemed to be the same. I hope parents read into reviews before enrolling kids into a daycare. This daycare has a bad reputation with hiding things from parents or at least not letting parents know as soon as possible. They tamper with the truth of incidents that happen with children. I am in the process of pulling my child out of this facility.
This was such a peaceful environment when Beverley was director. After finding out that a new director was hired to help the CDC "grow" everything went down hill. When Hilda Rivera became director their was immediate change in not only in the environment but in the initial vibe as you enter the building. The staff/teachers seemed very unhappy, pressured and uneased. There was no communication allowed from teachers to parents without the director having to be standing by the door to listen or somehow trying to fit in the conversation. The kids were not being taught/learning at the same pace as when Beverley was in charge. Hilda has violated her power as director, feeling that no explanation should be given to a human being "even though its suppose to be a christian based center" Please take care of your children and not only focus on the teachers but on the administration as well. They will have a big impact on your childrens life even if it doesnt seem like it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE only unless the director was to be changed.
This place has gotten horrible within the last year. Children are always be moved around. Staff is unreliable. Constant change of teachers. Always short handed. The conversation the staff has amongst each other is horrible. There is no communication with teacher/parents and director/parents. when walking into the building the director seems to always be on her cell phone. Only pays attention when a parent comes in with their child. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIA PLACE.
Ive used this provider and it was amazing until the director change then the amazing caring staff left or were let go? That previous staff there genuinely loved me children and would go out of their way for them. The current staff director included are just passing them through, like any other center would. I felt i found a special place :(. It not so anymore. There is constant change in staff, schedule, and classrooms. The unprofessionalism is sickening. Children shouldbot hear some of the talk i have heard from staff needless to say i have pulled my children.
Turnover rate is very bad. Children need stability. The place itself is never on a schedule things are always dramatically changing. Administration needs lots of work.
