St. Michael offers a truly unique educational experience. We combine the Catholic school experience with a small town, rural values creating a family atmosphere which can only be found at St. Michael. Our students are taught the faith every day and have the opportunity to participate in Holy Mass every Friday and are able to pray several times a day including participating in activities like stations of the cross, praying the rosary and adoration of the Holy Eucharist. In addition to the core classes that students would receive at our public school counterparts, St. Michael students have art, music and physical education. This year we are adding keyboarding and foreign language curriculum as well.

We are the only Catholic school in Brown County and we have children from as far away as North Adams School District and Felicity. We have buses that run from Georgetown and Ripley. Although we do charge tuition, it is very reasonable and tuition assistance is available through both state-sponsored scholarships and other funding. St. Michael students are able to participate in the same extra-curricular activities as students from other schools. Although we are a Catholic school and we do teach our faith, we have many non-Catholic students who enjoy our Christian-based curriculum. As of October 1, 2018, St. Michael School has 101 students enrolled. All staff, volunteers, or any other adult who has direct contact with St. Michael students must have Virtus training, background checks through selection.com, as well as maintain Virtus compliance.
