| Findings: Upon arrival, one infant under 12 months old was asleep in a swing and not buckled. LS informed the provider the infant may not sleep in a swing and must sleep in an approved rest furnishing (i.e. a pack and play). LS asked to inspect the pack and play. One pack and play was located in the first floor bedroom with bags of items stored inside. Another pack and play was located out of the child care area, folded. LS had the provider open the second pack and play and place the infant in for rest time. LS emphasized the safety reasoning for infants sleeping in pack and plays instead of swings and that the new set of regulations will be more specific to that safety requirement. | |||
