We had Court-ordered Temporary Custody of our granddaughter while she was enrolled here. I made sure to fax over legal paperwork proving this fact so they could add this info to their file. The problem came when my husband tried to pick up our granddaughter and one of the owners caused a big scene telling him he could not get her. THIS was very unprofessional and uncalled for. AS BUSINESS OWNERS, especially a Daycare, they should know that not EVERY family unit is the same. Even if they knew the other set of grandparents/family members, it should not have caused friction. DHR was paying the costs, not the other side of the family. Then, we went to pick up our granddaughter another time & could NOT FIND HER. The owner had let someone else get her even though she had copies of the Court Order showing the dates that we pick her up! Legal battles are no fun for anyone involved but they acted VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY. I have the video! If I could give them negative ?? I would!
