Description: Children who attend quality early learning programs score better on reading and math achievement tests; are less likely to be placed in special education; and are more likely to graduate from high school. Unfortunately, data showed that more than 60% of pre-kindergarten age children in the Castle Park community did not attend preschool.
CVPromise begins the 2013-2014 school year with two new quality preschool classrooms for Castle Park children ages three to five years of age.
Located on the campus of Castle Park Elementary, Escuelita del Futuro is a free full day quality preschool program providing children with learning and social experiences based on their individual abilities, interest and developmental needs. Space is limited. Specialized curriculum will be in place for English language learners.
